PROJECTION SYSTEMS

Not long ago the projector was a low output, low-resolution machine on a rickety trolley mount – difficult to use, difficult to see and exposed to damage. We work with brands such as Epson who have a particularly good range of high output, reliable projectors at surprisingly good prices including models that are remotely managed, so it’s possible to adjust the settings or check the lamp without physical access to the projector.

Modern digital projectors have a surprising range of features, including the option to side mount on a hall wall, rather than be centrally placed in front of the screen. Lightweight wire guards will protect the equipment effectively if a hall is used for sporting purposes.

The choice of projector depends on room size, planned use and budget.

ELECTRIC SCREENS

A good projector deserves a good screen. It is not always the largest screen that is best. If the screen is too large viewers need to constantly refocus to see all the image, too small and it might be difficult to see from some positions in the room.

Most screens are electrically operated and store away inside their own casing to prevent damage. Trusol has installed many different hall systems over the last 20 years and can advise on the best screen for your hall.

AUDIO

Trusol can provide full design, installation and support for a range of audio systems, from portable water-resistant speakers through professional hall sound systems to automated high end audio for concert-grade quality.

Specifying and installing hall systems is not as straightforward as it seems. Every building is different and every requirement varies. Attention to detail when the system is designed and installed will pay dividends. This is an area where it is easy to mistake optimistic specifications for quality. Choosing good quality, robust, conservatively-specified equipment will give its users confidence and many years of reliable operation.

LIGHTING

Stage lighting is an essential component for auditoriums and halls. It should be easy to use and require little or no maintenance. Trusol specialise in lighting systems designed around the specific needs of the organisation, using industry-standard equipment which is easy to operate and meets current professional production standards.

Simple lighting may be required to light up a speaker on stage, or automated colour changing lights to accompany music. Video broadcasting and filming require specialist solutions, and for theatre productions or bigger events the lights and controls must meet the expectations of visiting technical staff.

Each scenario requires a different level of understanding and in each case the users’ needs have to be met quickly and with minimal learning to get up and running.
