Case Study - Audio upgrades at Better Gym East Village in Stratford, London Trusol

The challenge

2022 saw many people return to their normal routines for the first time since the pandemic and demand grew again for fitness classes across London.

Our client, GLL were competing for the returning membership with other local high-end gym operators and their larger budgets.

Better Gym East Village recognised that they needed to offer quality group cycle classes but only had an open area of the main gym to consider, with the high ceilings and large open space making the acoustic challenges much harder.

The group cycle audio system, needed to be focused as much as possible within that part of the gym, to reduce distraction for any of the other gym users.

Our solution

As experts in fitness studio installations, Trusol applied some of our most popular design elements and came up with a bespoke solution.

Equipment was selected for best value, excellent sound quality and long life with easy instructor controls. The design concentrates sound into the specific area of the open plan gym for those attending the group cycle classes.

The system was fine-tuned to deliver the very best audio quality for all group cycle attendees, and to ensure the overall atmosphere was not compromised by the open plan layout.

The results

Strategically placed high powered speakers now guarantee clear audio without any distortion with focused sound for the dedicated class area.

Instructors really enjoy using the new enhanced system, which they agree allows then to deliver better classes.

The new audio system proved so popular with members and instructors that Trusol were asked to return and provide an additional upgrade to the audio system in their group exercise studio.
